BuddyPress Installation

The BuddyPress plugin initial installation does not differ in any way from a standard WordPress plugin installation. You just have to search for buddypress from search bar like any other plugin and then install or you can directly download it from here. Once you have installed and enabled it for your WordPress website you could access its settings from Settings > BuddyPress.

After following the above setup you will be greeted with a following screen 




As you can see many components come pre installed, along with that it akso contains an explanation for the same. You can enable those components which you want according to your needs and  requirements of your website and for the rest you can disable them. When you think that you have all the required and necessary components installed, just click on Save settings.

In the next step click on the options tab, in this tab you will find the settings for the plugin.Just like previous step you can chose to enable the settings you want and disable you don't.  In the end you can click Save Settings


That’s it! All the components that you have enabled are working properly and could be used by all of your website’s members.
